‘Ban’ refers to the ‘flags’ that are used during important Buddhist memorial services at temples.They are used to both beautiful adorn and honor Buddha.
It is said that they act as a prayer of peace for all people and are believed to have the power to repel evil. The 8 ‘Ban’ dusplayed here, after being judged,were chosen from 64 works submitted by dusabled people form all over Japan with the ‘Beautiful of Nature’ as the theme. We hope you enjoy the way they flutter gracefully in the wind.
Harima Yasuo, chairperson of Tanpopo-No-Ye Foundation and, Wataboshi-No-Kai Social Welfare Corporation passed away on October 3rd, 2024, at the age of 82, while undergoing medical treatment for some time.

この作品は 2022 年に上演した「わたし、源氏物語、 やりたいねん」を大幅に改訂して創作した作品です。 2022 年の上演時に出演していた上埜英世さんが2023 年に逝去され、今回は彼女を追悼する意味で HANA PLAYメンバーと創作した作品です。彼女の思い出を語りながら少しずつ作っていきました。上埜さんがかつて語り部として上演した「葵上」を下敷きにした HANA PLAY 独自の源氏物語をご覧いただければと思います。(佐藤拓道)
〈一般財団法人たんぽぽの家〉が企画・協力するNFTプロジェクト「Good Job! Digital Factory」では、福祉×NFTの実験的な取り組みをさらに広めていくため、2024年5月27日~ 6月30日の期間で、障害のある人の表現をいかしながら新しい仕事や文化をつくっていく団体を募集しました。14団体からご応募いただき、事務局およびアドバイザーで一次審査(書類選考)を実施して3団体を選出しました。
Good Job! Digital Factory(グッドジョブデジタルファクトリー)は、「アートとデジタルの力で、障害のある人とともに、社会に新しい仕事・文化をつくる」ことを目的に、2023年4月から始まったNFTプロジェクトです。NFTアートの制作・販売のほか、オンライン上のコミュニティづくりなど、新しい福祉のあり方を考える取り組みを続けています。

This time, at Yakushiji Temple, where the big banner event will be held for the second time, the banner that was displayed in last year’s “Big Banner in Todaiji” will flutter again with a new look.
